Back to school

Holidays are finally finished, they were super good! I spent my last weekend with a bunch of mates in langebaan. It was super fun, the tow out attempts were a fail as there is no wave at all! We did ski kite board fish and chill. Over all this holiday was amazing. Boland trials are at strand this Saturday, my money is on Kyle Cabano he has been ripping lately go check some of the photos on his blog and you will see what I am talking about!! http://manarise.blogspot.com/ - KC’s blog. Non the less I urge all to come out and have some fun in the sun. I haven’t been boogieing due to a shoulder injury and the place I was at did not have any waves. So tomorrow I’m off to Langebaan to literally get a high as a kite. I’m not talking about using illegal narcotics but I am talking about trying to do some tow outs and try out my mates kite boarding stuff. I will try shoot some pictures of us flighing high until then here are some photos of some of the spoils I enjoyed this holiday!

Wow this has been an awesome holiday!!! Had some super sick times and the waves were good, I have recently acquired a camera so pictures will be good quality :) I have recently discovered a new reef in the Overberg region, its called disturbia sick left, super shallow, only scored it on 2ft but it has heaps of potential!!! Also got some good beachies, unfortunately I have tendonitis in my shoulder which is stopping me from surfing a lot, hopefully it will be fine by the time Boland trials come round. Problem is I can’t train :( its sucks that the holidays are drawing to a close, but it’s my matric year so I’m finished after this biatches :) haha… I hope. So merry 2010 hope it’s a good year too all. I really hope you enjoy these pics I worked hard to find these waves! They should bring tranquility or uproar. Cheers

Blogging has been belated as I do not have internet at my holiday house. Over the 3weeks of holiday that has passed I have scored some good waves. I have surfed Aniston, Caves, all spots round the Pearly Beach area, Onrus and for the last few days Struisbaai. I have a few funny stories about this holiday, many coming from the Onrus Surfing/Bodyboarding Classic. Kyle Cabano can also tell you the stories about the night on the town, but we will save that for a later time. So I don’t really have any new photo’s for you seeing as all I have is footage of the holiday, so sorry. You can see some pics of the classic on KC’s blog @ http://manarise.blogspot.com/ enjoy these, none of me unfortunately. Hopefully getting a proper camera soon then pics will be coming. Struisbaai had some super fun waves scored a shorie that is like KIKI, crazy dumpers also got a solid 3 – 4ft left reef, a lot like kokkerot, I had a local stand up guru take me there, my board and suit got a few new injuries as we surfed it on super low. The Struisbaai night life was also a surprise to me! It has been a super chilled holiday thus far and I hope for it to continue in the same fashion. Merry Christmas to all and have a good new year. YO YO YO YO YO

Aweeeeeeeeeeeeee. Sorry this post has been so delayed. Finally on holiday, haven’t go any waves yet but I’m off to a place called Waanhuiskraans aka Aniston, I have not been there since I was an infant so it will be good to check out the surf. I have been told that there is warm water and about a wave that is fickle but that it becomes world class, so we will be hoping for the best. Il see if we take any photos. Until then over and out.
